CHEYENNE -- Cheyenne Regional Medical Center plans to build a new clinic in Pine Bluffs.
Organizers of a free health care clinic in Wise County are advising patients to be prepared for heat and long lines. The 14th annual Remote Area Medical clinic is expected to draw about 3,000 patients. The three-day clinic begins Friday and runs through Sunday at the Wise County Fairgrounds in Wise. Read more here.
The VCU Health System committee studying VCU’s proposal to build a free-standing children’s hospital has scheduled three meetings to get feedback on the idea. Many poor children in Wyoming do not get routine dental care, a report from a national research group shows. The Pew Charitable Trust recently published a study of access to dental care for low-income children. And access in Wyoming could get worse because so many dentists are old enough to retire, said Jane Koppelman, research director of the trust’s children’s dental campaign.
