As MELT has grown, I have too

On January 22nd I released my first book. A goal that transpired as I refined my techniques in hopes to have others pass along the same message. Today over 100,000 people have experienced MELT first hand. From taking a workshop with me or the growing number of MELT Instructors across the country teaching MELT in group environments to learning MELT on your own at home, this method has truly taken hold.

Since the beginning of 2013, I’ve taught over 100 events and have witnessed over 5.000 participants in these events experience MELT for the first time. I started developing this method of self-care in 2004 in group environments, but shared hands-off techniques with my one-on-one clients since 1998. The journey to this place has been utterly enlightening. I’ve met so many wonderful people that I say every day, what a blessed life I have.

I’ve been hugged, thanked, and praised for my contributions to those participants. Often times I hear someone say I’ve changed their life, I’ve seen people burst into tears because by the end of their first class they already feel better – many for the first time in years. There is nothing more humbling than watching others trust in your beliefs and knowing and I’m privileged to be set into this by so many people who have helped and guided me along the way to where I am today.

It took two years to write the MELT Method book. To simplify cellular science and figure out how to narrow down the method to its foundational elements so anyone – and I mean anyone could use MELT at home, on their own, and feel immediate changes in 10 minutes. It can be done. I’ve now witnessed it time and again in the intro events I’ve been doing.

I’ve had people with MS, Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, severe back and neck pain, and joint replacements try MELT. Many first timers for MELT come in with severe diabetes, neuropathy, migraines, joint pain, digestive issues, sleep issues give the method a whirl and empower themselves to take back some control of their body and their living process. Perhaps living in a bubble of neurofascial science and sharing this with a small group for years gave me security and knowing that I could help a few. But nothing really prepared me for what I’ve now seen since January across America.

I was recently in Vancouver BC, Canada where I taught, for the very first time the MELT Hand and Foot Instructor Training. This was the first time I did a training out of the country. It’s a big step for me. Only over the past 3 years have I even stepped out of NYC to do these trainings. By the end of this year, 1,000 MELT Hand and Foot Instructors will be teaching these techniques across the US and into Europe and Canada. What’s been even more exciting is watching these people step out of their comfort zones and teach others this method with great success. The people who come to the trainings are so kind, wonderful, and wanting to help others and themselves learn more about how to live a pain-free life.

This is a blessing. This is a gift. A great thanks to all those who have played such an integral part of the development of both MELT and me!
